The most precious gift of my life

   I was so happy when I've learned that there's a gift of life inside of me. But so many questions, so many tears I shed when I gave birth to a baby boy 15 years ago. When I saw him fighting for his life inside the incubator, my heart broke. He was there for almost 2 months. After 4 months,I learned that he cannot see. We brought him to specialists, but all of them told us he has Retinopathy of prematurity. I cried for a year.
     Years passed by, we noticed that he can't communicate well, he always mimicking what he heard. Again, we brought him to specialist and learned that he has slight autism. His mental growth is 5 years younger than his age. I can't accept the fact that my son is blind and autistic. I ask God why? What I have done, do I deserve this? Am I a bad person? Why He gave me a child with disabilities? 
     Until I heard Bro. Eli Soriano's preaching about special children and persons with disabilities. I cried, not because I felt sorry, but because I learned that God loves me so much that He gave me the most precious gift in our life, my son. God gave me my son to learn more how life is so wonderful and how God loves us so much. 
        We love you so much Kuya John Lloyd and we're proud to say we have a son like you.

       These were some of the verses which enlightened me through the preaching of  Bro. Eli Soriano :

• Exodus 4:11 "And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man's mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord?"
• 1 Corinthians 1:28 "And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:"
• 1 Timothy 4:4 "For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:;"
• Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.,
• Psalms 100:5 "For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting;and his truth endureth to all generations."
• 2 Corinthians 9:15 "Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

         Now, every time I listen to Bro. Eli Soriano's preaching, I can't help but cry. I realize how lucky we are to have our son. He is the most special gift of life to us.
